Job summary

Cranston Engineering Group, P.C. is seeking a Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) to join its team in Augusta, Georgia. In this role, you will produce precise survey mapping and exhibits, process field data, and interpret various documents to support engineering projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with AutoCAD in the AEC industry preferred, or 1 year of land surveying field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate survey maps and supporting documentation for field crews.
• Review and analyze survey-related documents for accuracy.
• Coordinate with survey staff and project managers for project alignment.
• Apply survey coding standards to enhance drafting workflows.
• Utilize Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center software for data processing.
• Integrate data from LiDAR systems to enhance survey accuracy.
