Merrick & Company in Chamblee, GA is seeking a Survey Technician I to work under the direct supervision of a Land Surveyor on boundary, GPS, photogrammetry, easement and as-built projects. The role focuses on AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and collaboration with multiple disciplines.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience, a valid driver’s license, and eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship. Local candidates preferred.

OVERVIEW

Merrick & Company is seeking career and quality minded individuals for challenging projects including all types of Boundary, GPS, Photogrammetry, Easement/Right of Way, ALTAs, Topographic and As-Built Surveys. The Survey Technician I will work under direct supervision of a Land Surveyor in our Chamblee, GA office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with other disciplines.
• Follow schedules and budget commitments.
• Work independently.
• Possesses good written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Work onPreparation of legal description and exhibits.
• Draft monumented land survey plats.
• Draft topographical and contour maps.
• Work with HDS point clouds.
• Assisting with field assignments, as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of one (1) year working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Local candidates only.
• Must meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and be insurable under Merrick's insurance carrier.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
