Job summary

Sarinas Consulting is seeking a Survey Technician to join its Portsmouth, NH team. This full-time role involves supporting field and office surveying activities on a range of civil engineering and land development projects across New Hampshire and surrounding regions.

You will perform boundary, topographic, existing-conditions, and construction surveys, plus staking and layout, using modern equipment while coordinating with engineers and project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in land surveying and civil surveying preferred.
• Familiarity with boundary, topographic, existing-conditions, and construction surveys.
• Ability to read and interpret deeds, plans, maps, and engineering drawings.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support field and office surveying activities for NH projects.
• Conduct boundary, topographic, existing-conditions, and construction surveys.
• Perform construction staking and layout and establish survey control.
• Collect accurate field measurements and data using total stations, GPS/GNSS, and data collectors.
• Review plans and maps for field layout and project scope.
• Maintain field notes and project documentation, coordinating with teams.
