Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Survey Technician to join our Princeton, NJ office on a full-time basis. You will support the land surveying team by processing data and producing final project deliverables, assisting both office and field staff under the supervision of the Senior Survey Project Manager.

In this entry-level role, you will learn survey operations, work with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and help ensure accuracy and project standards are met through quality control and safe workflow practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher is required.
• Prior experience in land surveying or construction is preferred.
• Strong math and technical skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process survey data using Trimble Business Center and CAD standards.
• Monitor field crew production and provide quality assurance.
• Prepare cadastral maps and plats from field data using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform initial quality control of field deliverables.
• Assist field technicians as needed to complete survey work.
