A leading company in the surveying industry is seeking a mid-level surveyor in Kansas City, MO. This role involves conducting land surveys, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with team members to achieve project goals. The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree and have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

HDR is currently seeking a mid-level surveyor to work as a member of a survey crew based out of our Kansas City, MO office. Mid-level surveyor would work outside daily performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, design and construction surveys for public, private and internal clients. Applicant must be willing and able to travel, and be responsible, highly motivated, and detail oriented. Mid-level surveyors complete a variety of professional assignments to facilitate the completion of surveys while learning the methods of the work.
The primary duties of this position will be to assist the party chief as directed to conduct land surveys. Maintain surveying equipment and survey vehicle inventory. Maintain records, prepare reports and other functions as required.
