Job summary

Loenbro, LLC, located in Dallas, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented Survey Technician to support mission-critical construction projects such as data centers and manufacturing facilities. • Experience on large-scale commercial/industrial or data center projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction staking and layout for foundations, structural steel, equipment pads, utilities, roadways, and electrical infrastructure.
• Operate and maintain Trimble total stations, GNSS/GPS receivers, robotic instruments, and data collectors.
• Use Trimble Business Center, Trimble Access, Trimble Siteworks to process field data.
• Interpret drawings, BIM models, and civil plans to establish control points.
• Verify as-built conditions and conduct QA/QC surveys.
• Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control networks on active sites.
• Generate survey reports, field notes, and as-built deliverables.
• Assist with reality capture using laser scanning and drone mapping when applicable.

Job Summary

Loenbroisseekinga detail-oriented and motivatedSurvey Technicianto support mission-critical construction projects, including hyperscale data centers, advanced manufacturing facilities, and other complex infrastructure developments. This roleis responsible forperforming field surveying, layout verification, quality control measurements, and construction staking activitiesutilizingTrimble survey equipment and software platforms.

The Survey Technician will work closely with project managers, superintendents, engineers, BIM/VDC teams, and craft professionals to ensureaccurateproject layout, alignment, and documentation throughout all phases of construction.

• Perform construction staking and layout for foundations, structural steel, equipment pads, underground utilities, roadways, electrical infrastructure, and building components.
• Operate andmaintainTrimbletotal stations, GNSS/GPS receivers, robotic instruments, and data collectors.
• Utilize Trimble Business Center (TBC), Trimble Access, Trimble Siteworks, and other survey software to process and manage field data.
• Interpret engineering drawings, BIM models, civil plans, utility plans, and specifications toestablishproject control points.
• Verify as-built conditions and perform quality assurance/quality control surveys throughout construction activities.
• Establish andmaintainhorizontal and vertical control networks on active construction sites.
• Collaborate with project management and field operations teams toidentifyand resolve layout discrepancies.
• Generate survey reports, field notes, stakeout documentation, and as-built deliverables.
• Assistwith reality capture activitiesutilizinglaser scanning, GPS technologies, and drone-based mapping programs when applicable.
• Ensure surveying activities align with project schedules whilemaintainingthe highest levels of accuracy and safety.
• Support construction teams in fast-paced mission-critical environments where schedule adherence and precision directlyimpactproject success.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GEDrequired.
• Associate degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Geomatics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum2 years of construction surveying experiencerequired.
• Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or data center construction projects preferred.
• Working knowledge of survey principles,coordinatesystems, control networks, and construction layout procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites asrequired.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Trimble surveying technologies.
• Proficiencywith:
• Trimble Business Center (TBC)
• Trimble Siteworks
• Trimble Access
• Trimble GNSS/GPS Systems
• Robotic Total Stations
• Experience integrating survey data with BIM/VDC workflows and Autodesk platforms.
• Familiarity with data center construction, electrical infrastructure, and mission-critical facilities.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
