Haley Ward, Inc. in Brookfield, CT seeks a Survey Senior CAD Technician to process topographic, hydrographic, construction staking and boundary surveys. The role emphasizes accuracy, mapping, and client communication.

Requires an Associate degree in Survey Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with Civil 3D, MS Office. Office-based with occasional travel; strong teamwork and multitasking needed.

Qualifications

• Associates’ degree in Survey Engineering, Geomatics, GIS or related discipline.
• Experience using Civil 3D.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strategic/critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• MS Word/Outlook and advanced Excel functions.
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conducts measurements and analysis for assignments.
• Prepares maps and drawings.
• Researches internal and property records.
• Drafts information for survey reports and related documentation.
• Communicates with clients regarding survey questions and schedules.
• Estimates survey costs.

What You Can Expect To Be Doing

Haley Ward is looking for a Survey Senior CAD Technician who will process various surveys including but not limited to: topographic, hydrographic, construction staking, and boundary surveys.

• Performs survey calculations
• Conducts measurements and analysis for assignments
• Prepares maps and drawings
• Researches internal and property records
• Drafts information to be included in survey reports and related documentation
• Communicates with clients regarding survey questions and schedules
• Estimates survey costs
• Work is typically performed in an office setting
• Occasional travel may be required

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Associates’ degree in Survey Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, or other related discipline
• Experience using Civil 3D
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strategic/critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office skills including MS Word, Outlook, and advanced functions of Excel
• Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
