Job Description

The salary range for this role is$60,000 - $75,000/year + Bonus

As a Survey Sample Associate with Numerator Surveys, you’ll play an integral role in delivering the highest quality research and insights to our clients. Leveraging our game-changing consumer insights omnipanel, you’ll partner closely with the Survey Sample Specialist and Survey Research team to design and create project-specific sample plans to meet research objectives. You’ll be a key stakeholder for our proprietary sample management platform, regularly consulting with Product and Engineering teams to improve the technology. In addition, you will support the Survey Research Team in extracting panel data for use in survey research analysis.

You’ll be excited to work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment, partnering with many groups cross-functionally - easily blending technical skill and attention to detail with a curious and analytical mind.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leveraging Numerator’s proprietary sample management database to accurately identify and pull qualified panelists for custom research studies
  • Consultative partner leveraging creative thinking to develop and refine sample specifications for standard research, including troubleshooting and developing alternative plans when initial sample specifications are not feasible
  • Responsible and accountable for maintaining Numerator’s superior data quality standards
  • Influencer in continued product development and improvement for our internal sample management database
  • Responsible for running queries to pull Numerator’s panel data to append to survey data
Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a statistical, mathematical, or technical field
  • Minimum 2 years in online sample/panel management
  • Understands sampling methodology, incidence, quotas, and response rates
  • Experience with survey software (Qualtrics, Decipher, Alchemer, SPSS, others)
  • Excellent database language skills, including SQL & knowledge of data architecture principles and ETL processes
  • Highly motivated, self-directed & possessing a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines
  • Superior organizational skills, unflagging attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
  • Capable of working under minimal supervision with a high level of initiative, energy & enthusiasm for learning within a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented tech environment
  • Highly collaborative team-oriented focus
  • Creative problem solver; able to devise new solutions for existing and future problems
