Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Survey Project Manager to lead surveying projects from planning through completion. You will work directly with clients, mentor staff, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality survey deliverables.

Candidates should have 5+ years of surveying experience, NJ standards knowledge, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or similar software. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional surveying experience, with project management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, practices, and applicable NJ standards.
  • Experience with boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveying.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or other surveying and design software.
  • Strong understanding of survey calculations, legal descriptions, and plats.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client-management skills.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in New Jersey preferred.

  • Oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and land development surveys.
  • Coordinate field crews, survey technicians, engineers, and other project team members.
  • Review survey data, plans, plats, legal descriptions, and technical deliverables.
  • Communicate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Prepare scopes of work, proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules.
  • Ensure projects meet applicable standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior survey staff.
  • Support business development and maintain strong client relationships.

Survey Project Manager
