Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of projects. Additionally, they oversee quality and coordination among all internal and external stakeholders to ensure a positive client experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review contract scope and execute deliverables within the agreed schedule.
2. Monitor time charges and project adjustments to stay within budget.
3. Identify scope changes and negotiate adjustments in contract price and/or schedule with the Group Manager and/or Director.
4. Provide status updates to stakeholders.
5. Make final decisions on survey and staking technical matters.
6. Review all deliverables for quality control and adherence to standards before external release.
7. Coordinate project submittals with local municipalities.
8. Consult with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve issues.
9. Maintain communication with clients throughout the project to ensure satisfaction and transparency.
10. Build long-term relationships with clients.
11. Cross-sell services to other departments or clients.
12. Stay informed about current industry trends.
13. Provide feedback on staff performance and training needs.
14. Ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
15. Communicate respectfully to maintain a positive company image.
16. Follow Geomatics department guidelines and standards.
17. Assess potential hazards and unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

1. Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Florida.
2. Bachelor's degree in Geomatics.
3. 2-5 years of office/field experience in Land Surveying.
4. Motivated to develop and grow the land surveying sector regionally.
5. Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary engineering firm for various clients.
6. Leadership skills to manage a team of surveying professionals.
7. Ability to independently manage and grow key client relationships.
8. Technical expertise to lead and advise survey project teams.
