Job description

Halff has an immediate opening for a Survey Project Manager who is a Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) for our Orlando, FL office.

• Oversee project's financial health, report issues, and develop solutions.
• Support business development efforts, guide each phase of proposals, and emphasize quality outcomes.
• Lead by example in a professional, productive, and established work environment.
• Assist operational flow for a survey team to prioritize projects of all sizes and complexities.

What you will need:

• 3+ years of management experience.
• PSM in Florida preferred, or ability to become licensed within a year.
• Experience managing large-scale land survey projects, overseeing field crews and registered surveyors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external clients.
• Ability to work independently, mentor, and develop Survey Technicians and junior project managers.
• Proven project management skills, including scope, schedule, and fee development, adhering to guidelines.
• Technical proficiency with Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
• Experience with Public Works, Energy, Water/Wastewater, and Land Development projects is ideal.
• Hands-on experience with municipalities in Central Florida.
