We are seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to oversee land surveying projects from planning through completion. This role will manage project teams, budgets, schedules, client communication, and day-to-day operations while ensuring projects meet quality and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage surveyors, field coordinators, and survey/CADD technicians.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, workload distribution, and invoicing.
• Prepare proposals, estimates, contracts, and project schedules.
• Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and profitability.
• Provide leadership, training, and performance guidance to project staff.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Review and approve survey plans, reports, and project deliverables.
• Support business development and client relationship efforts.
• Use AutoCAD and related surveying/CADD software as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred, or equivalent project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, construction plans, maps, plats, and legal descriptions.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D preferred.
• Familiarity with Trimble and/or Topcon surveying software is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience supervising and developing technical staff.

Travel

Up to 20% travel, including occasional overnight or weekend stays, may be required depending on project and training needs.
