Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Survey Project Manager to support proposal development, estimates, and client presentations in Atlanta, GA. The role requires SIT/LS eligibility, CAD proficiency, and successful management of survey projects with GDOT and other agencies.

You will coordinate with staff and clients, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with surveying regulations while leveraging GIS, LiDAR, and robotic survey tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited program or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Must be Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia; other states licenses desirable.
• GDOT experience required.
• 10+ years of experience managing survey projects of varying sizes and complexity.
• 8+ years of experience in land surveying.
• SIT license.
• 107 Remote Pilot’s Certification a plus.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Carlson.
• LiDAR collection and software experience (TopoDOT and Pix4D) a plus.
• Experienced with GDOT MicroStation/Open Roads Design (ORD) desirable.
• Working knowledge of GDOT SUE process desirable.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SIT or LS requirements as applicable.
• Proficiency in CAD, Least Squares Reduction and other Survey Software.
• Experience with GIS platforms desirable.
• Experience with Robotic Total Stations, GPS (post-processing).
• Experience with scanners, drones, and other emerging technologies desirable.
• Coordinate with Georgia registration requirements or eligibility within a year as a Land Surveyor.
• Proven track record on ALTA, route/database, boundaries, topographical, inventories, and other surveys.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules and resource allocation.
• Must have project management experience.
• Participate in pre-survey planning meetings with project managers, resident engineers, and contractor representatives.
• Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities

Education/Experience

• Must be Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia, other states licenses are desirable
