Job summary

Bohler's Tampa, FL office is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Survey to support our growing land development team serving the Tampa Bay market. You’ll prepare and review field surveys, direct staff, and perform quality control on survey documents, ensuring data accuracy and project success.

Work closely with Project Managers, field crews, and CAD technicians, mentoring junior staff and coordinating schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience with proven technical proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey data management practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to balance priorities under tight deadlines.
• SIT certification or equivalent credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and monitor field surveys for multiple projects.
• Direct and coordinate field and office teams to deliver survey deliverables efficiently.
• Review survey plans, records, and title documents for accuracy.
• Perform boundary analysis and computations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ensure quality control across drawings and reports.
• Mentor and train field crews, CAD technicians, and junior staff.
• Communicate progress and issues with internal teams and clients.
• Support project scheduling and cross-department coordination.
