Job summary

RETTEW is seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief to lead field survey operations across multiple states, with the opportunity to expand into UAS/drone technology and aerial data collection. This role requires independent leadership of field crews, proficient operation of modern survey equipment, and delivering accurate data to project teams.

The position is primarily field-based with regional travel to project sites in PA, OH, WV, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Must be able to independently perform field survey assignments.
• Must be able to lead field crews effectively.
• Experience reviewing field data for errors and inconsistencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey crews performing boundary, topographic, construction, and control surveys.
• Plan and independently execute field survey assignments per project requirements.
• Operate GPS/GNSS equipment, total stations, and data collectors.
• Establish survey control and collect accurate field data.
• Train and mentor survey crew members.
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure calibration.
