Duties, Responsibilities & Other
  • Experience: 4+ years in survey work, including ALTA, topographic, and construction surveys. TXDOT survey and SUE experience are a plus.
  • Skills: Operation of field equipment, communication, note-taking, math skills, ability to work independently, and travel readiness.
  • Duties: Supervise survey crew, maintain field notes, communicate with office, train staff, operate robotic instruments, total stations, GPS, autolevels, and manage data collection and download.
  • Other: Valid driver’s license, good work ethic, willingness to travel up to 12 days, ability to lift 50 pounds, and work beyond 40 hours as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Pre-employment drug screening, background, and motor vehicle checks may be required.
Performance Expectations
  • Participate in cross-training and team building.
  • Communicate workflow needs effectively.
  • Follow all policies and procedures.
  • Accurately complete and submit daily reports, timesheets, and expense reports.
  • Maintain safety standards and report issues immediately.
  • Adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Inspect own work for accuracy and completeness before submission.
  • Maintain certifications and participate in training.
  • Perform all tasks according to industry standards and client requirements.
