Duties, Responsibilities & Other
  • Experience: 4+ years overall survey experience, including survey party chief experience. Experience with ALTA, topographic, and construction surveys required. TXDOT survey and SUE experience a plus.
  • Skills: Knowledge of field equipment operation, effective communication, field note-taking, good math skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to travel nationally.
  • Duties: Supervise survey crew, maintain field notes, communicate with office staff, train subordinates, operate robotic instruments, total stations, data collectors, GPS (static, RTK, VRS), autolevel, and download data nightly.
  • Other: Valid driver’s license, strong work ethic, willingness to travel up to 12 days, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and work more than 40 hours as needed. Per diem provided for travel.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Pre-employment drug screening, background, and motor vehicle checks may be required.
Performance Expectations
  • Participate in cross-training and team-building activities.
  • Communicate work needs effectively to team and supervisor.
  • Follow all company policies and safety standards, including OSHA.
  • Accurately complete and review daily reports, time sheets, and expense reports.
  • Proactively resolve issues and ensure work quality and safety.
  • Maintain certifications and adhere to industry standards and client requirements.
  • Contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
