Pulice is seeking a Survey Party Chief in San Antonio, TX. You will ensure accuracy in control lines, elevations, contours, and land features, guiding project management and field crews.

The role emphasizes leadership, precise layout, and collaboration with engineers and management on projects. Requirements include 3+ years in survey and land mapping, LSIT certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in survey and land mapping required.
• LSIT Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proven leadership skills.
• Ability to train and direct staff on a project site.
• Developing knowledge of topographic and cross-section surveys for planning, design, materials and cost projections.

Responsibilities

• Provide work control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and proper installation by field staff.
• Assist in evaluating potential dimensions and field problems.
• Perform layout work competently and accurately as directed by survey manager.
• Provide checking of as-built conditions using surveying techniques.
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys for planning and payment quantities.
• Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.

Overview

Are you a detail-oriented surveyor with knowledge of topographic and cross-section surveys? As a Survey Party Chief, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy and precision in every aspect of our work. Your expertise in control lines, elevations, contours, and land features will guide project management and work crews, enabling them to execute their tasks with confidence. Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to deliver technical insights that directly impact project success.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Provide work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff.
• Assist in the evaluation of potential dimensions and other field problems.

Who You Are
