The role demands 3+ years in land surveying, a valid driver's license, and the ability to manage field operations and safety procedures.

Job Title: Survey Party Chief

Job Description

As a Survey Party Chief, you will supervise and conduct various types of surveys including Boundary, Topographic, Construction, and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys. You will ensure all surveys are performed professionally and efficiently, leveraging advanced survey equipment and technology.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in land surveying, including topographic, boundary, ALTA, as-built, and construction surveying.
• Proficiency with surveying equipment such as Trimble, Total Station, Data Collectors, Leica, and Magnetic Locators.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform survey calculations and maintain accurate field records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience conducting land surveys of roads, bridges, and building sites.
• Ability to travel during the work week.

Work Environment

This position requires heavy travel during the week, with weekends at home. You may be assigned to projects at other offices, requiring travel throughout Virginia and surrounding states. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $66560.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
