Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) invites applications for a Survey Field Technician in our St. Charles, MO office.

You will join a field crew supporting residential, commercial and boundary surveys, and contribute to industrial and agricultural projects with guidance from an experienced crew chief. Responsibilities include operating modern survey equipment such as total stations and drones, performing measurements, recording data, and creating sketches.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of related survey experience.
• Experience with construction staking, boundary, topographic and ALTA surveys.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC), Autodesk AutoCAD 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to operate motorized equipment and endure outdoor field conditions.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art survey equipment, total stations and drones.
• Navigate diverse terrains and jobsites.
• Take meticulous survey measurements that support project baselines.
• Record point and measurement data and prepare detailed sketches.
• Perform essential survey computations to ensure accuracy.
