Survey Microstation Drafter - Santa Clarita

Position Overview

DEA is seeking an experienced Survey Drafter with MicroStation Open Roads Designer (ORD) skills to support our Portland, OR office. Remote work is negotiable. The Survey Drafter will prepare maps and right-of-way plans to meet client specifications under the supervision of the Survey Project Manager. Projects will primarily focus on transportation and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, capable of completing work on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

1. Provide MicroStation ORD drafting support to DEA Project Managers and Surveyors.
2. Prepare maps, right-of-way plans, and exhibits meeting client specifications.
3. Conduct research, perform calculations, and support survey and mapping projects.
4. Perform other drafting and survey-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Demonstrated drafting skills and relevant work experience.
2. Proficiency in MicroStation drafting software (CE or Open Roads Designer).
3. AutoCAD Civil3D experience is a plus.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
