Job summary

gpac seeks an experienced Licensed Survey Manager in Savannah, GA to lead survey project delivery for both public and private clients. You will provide technical oversight, mentor staff, maintain quality standards, and coordinate with clients to ensure excellence.

This role requires extensive field-to-office coordination and strong budgeting capabilities. Key responsibilities include overseeing staffing and schedules, processing field data with total stations, GPS, 3D scanners, and UAVs, and

Qualifications

  • Eight or more years of related work experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple teams and projects.
  • Experience with ALTA/ACSM, Boundary, topographic, and Construction Surveys.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients.
  • Working knowledge of Trimble, Sokkia, or Leica surveying equipment.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D.

  • Prepare legal exhibits including plats and survey reports.

  • Post-process field data from total stations, GPS, levels, 3D laser scanners, and UAVs.
  • Create mapping deliverables including boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveys.
  • Prepare construction staking calculations by reading plans and CAD files.

Job description

Licensed Survey Manager

Required Experience
  • Eight or more years of related work experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple teams and porjects
  • Ability to Perform ALTA/ACSM, Boundary, topographic, and Construction Survey's
  • The ability to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients
  • Working knowledge of Trimble, Sokkia, or Leica Surveying Equipment
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD specifically Civil3D
Required Education
  • Associates or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or land Surveying is preferred
  • PLS licensure preferred, but would consider a strong LSIT
