Job Summary

Responsible for understanding standard survey practices, daily completion of work, and maintaining survey equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Basic understanding of plans (blueprint reading).
• Operate all survey equipment (GPS, total station, level, etc.).
• Perform basic survey calculations to assist the Party Chief.
• Keep construction documents up to date.
• Maintain equipment in proper working order.
• Keep truck fully stocked with materials.
• Perform construction stakeout and store stakeout data.
• Understand and make changes to Revit models.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Ability to communicate and interface with others.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• NICET certification working toward and at least 2 years of survey and/or layout experience.

Physical Requirements

• Wear personal protective equipment (steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.).
• Reach above shoulder heights and below the waist frequently.
• Stoоп, kneel, or bend occasionally.
• Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis.
• Comply with all safety standards and procedures.
• Climb stairs, ladders, etc. occasionally.
• Use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects frequently.
• Interact with people frequently during a shift.
• Lift, push, or pull objects occasionally.
• Sit, stand, or walk short distances for the entire duration of a shift.

Compensation

Pay Range: $23/hour – $39/hour.
