Job summary

Dynamic Engineering, a national multidisciplinary consulting firm, offers a Survey Intern position to assist in land surveying duties and support surveyors, staff engineers, and supervisors on a variety of projects. You will prepare survey files, field notes, and site measurements; gain exposure to boundary, topographic, and utility surveys; qualify through hands-on training and mentorship.

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office helps, and a valid driver's license is required;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Surveying preferred.
• 0-2 years’ experience in surveying.
• Must have flexibility in daily schedule start times, particularly early mornings.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform selected survey assignments, quickly and accurately.
• Perform a variety of surveys including site surveys, boundary, topographic, plot plans, roadway utility and subdivision plans.
• Preparation and set-up of survey files for field crews.
• Prepare field notes and organize field equipment.
• Project Datum Conversion/Transformation.
