Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers offers a summer internship in the Portland Survey Group from May to August or June to September, depending on school schedules. You will work alongside field crews, assisting Survey Office Technicians with CAD tasks and gaining hands-on experience on real projects from day one.

You will learn from a team of professionals in a collaborative environment, with opportunities to develop surveying skills, document project data, and participate in various site work activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week; Monday–Friday).
• Effective communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to stand or walk for several hours and navigate challenging terrain.

Responsibilities

• Assist Survey Office Technicians with CAD tasks and gain hands-on experience on real projects.
• Support field crews during surveying activities and learn from licensed professionals.
• Contribute to project documentation and data collection under supervision.
