Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. invites applications for a Summer 2027 Survey Internship. You will work under a supervising mentor on data collection, processing, and analysis for ongoing projects, gaining hands-on surveying experience.

The internship runs 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks from mid‑May to August. Enrollment in an Engineering or Science program is required; previous experience is not. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Entry level position; no previous experience required.
• Currently enrolled in a college Engineering or Science program.
• 3.0 GPA or higher preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to gather necessary data, including measurements, sketches, notes, and photographs.
• Process field data and draft base plans for project use and reference.
• Prepare topographic survey plots to aid in project development and planning.
• Attend bi‑weekly or more frequent meetings with project teams to discuss progress and address any issues.
• Operate within specified corporate or project budget parameters.
• Complete other duties as required or assigned.
