Survey Field Technician

Overview

As a Survey Field Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will be part of a survey field crew performing work on various construction projects, including topographic and boundary surveys, and construction stakeouts. You will apply surveying principles and practices, operate modern survey equipment, and perform land survey work. Responsibilities include operating instrumentation, clearing brush, driving stakes, recording data, preparing sketches, and maintaining equipment. You will also utilize surveying software to gather, retrieve, and interpret data, and perform basic survey computations. This role provides a foundation for further professional development as a land surveyor. Must have your own transportation.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of related survey experience
  • Experience with Construction staking preferred
  • Experience with Trimble and Access
  • Ability to operate motorized equipment and work outdoors under various conditions
  • Valid Driver's License
