Job summary

TTL is hiring a Survey Field Technician to support a variety of civil, industrial, environmental and transportation-based projects throughout Tennessee. You will work under the direction of the Survey Crew Chief, performing field surveys and related computations.

No experience is required and TTL is willing to train qualified individuals, with a focus on safety and accuracy in outdoor conditions. This full-time role offers growth, benefits, and the chance to contribute to infrastructure projects

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
• Perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Completes field assignments accurately while following the TTL safety protocol for personnel and equipment.
• Performs field survey operations on the following surveys: boundary, control, topographic, construction layout and staking, environmental mapping, GPS/GIS surveys, and land surveying.
• Works alongside the Crew Chief for completion of field work by performing the administrative functions to include all computations, reduction of field notes, maintaining records, etc.
