Job summary

URC Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a full-time Survey Field Technician to support the Crew Chief in collecting and preparing field data for CADD Operators. Ideal candidates will have surveying experience and strong communication skills.

The role entails assisting in data collection, preparing information for technical processing, and offers an annual salary between $46,000 and $60,000. A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life insurance, and retirement savings is provided.

Qualifications

• One year of surveying field experience.
• Experience with PLSS boundaries, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, as‑built surveys, railroad as‑builts and construction, utility pipeline as‑builts and construction, and construction layout.
• Ability to walk across uneven terrain.
• Ability to be outside for extended periods and handle exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to travel.
• Valid driver's license.

Job Overview

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, a national multi-disciplined surveying and engineering firm, seeks a full‑time Survey Field Technician to assist the Crew Chief in collecting information from the field and preparing it for the CADD Operators in office. The ideal candidate must be able to perform each essential duty of the position, have great communication and mathematical skills.
