Position Overview

Wilson & Company, Inc. is seeking a full‑time Survey Field Technician who will assist the Crew Chief in collecting field information and preparing data for the CADD Operators at our Las Cruces, NM or El Paso, TX office.

Note: the company does not sponsor work visas.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Crew Chief with field data collection.
• Prepare field information for CADD Operators.
• Support PLSS boundary, topographic, as‑built, railroad, utility pipeline, and construction layout surveys.

Qualifications and Experience

• Field surveying experience with PLSS boundaries, topographic surveys, as‑built surveys, railroad as‑built, utility pipeline as‑built and construction layout.
• Physical ability to walk across uneven terrain, work outdoors for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and be exposed to extreme temperatures.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Experience with Trimble equipment is a plus.
• Strong communication, mathematical skills, attention to detail, team orientation, and initiative.
• Consistent work effort, dependability, and ability to meet deadlines.

Salary and Location

Annual salary range: $47,000 – $75,000. Locations: Las Cruces, NM or El Paso, TX.
