Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a full time Survey Field Technician in Albuquerque, NM to assist the Crew Chief in collecting field data and preparing it for the CAD team. The role requires clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team while meeting deadlines.

Ideal candidates have one year of surveying field experience, valid driver's license, and comfort working outdoors in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• One year of surveying field experience.
• Ability to walk uneven terrain and travel.
• Valid driver’s license; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with PLSS boundaries, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys is a plus.
• Must be able to work outside for extended periods in extreme temperatures.

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, a national multi-disciplined surveying and engineering firm, seeks a full time Survey Field Technician to assist the Crew Chief in collecting information from the field and preparing it for the CADD Operators in office. The ideal candidate must be able to perform each essential duty of the position, have great communication and mathematical skills.

Required Experience

• One year of surveying field experience. Desired experience would include; PLSS boundaries, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, railroad as-builts and construction, utility pipeline as-builts and construction, construction layout.
• Ability to walk across uneven terrain.
• Ability to be outside for extended amounts of time and handle exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to travel.
• Experience with Trimble equipment is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
