Job summary

TTL, Inc. is seeking a Survey Field Technician in Clarksville, TN. The role supports civil, industrial, environmental, and transportation projects across Tennessee with on-the-job training.

You’ll perform boundary, control, topographic, construction layout, GPS/GIS surveys, and more, following TTL safety protocols. No experience is required; a high school diploma and valid driver's license are needed. Expect outdoor work, lifting up to 50+ lbs, and collaboration with the Crew Chief to complete

• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• No prior field survey experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Completes field assignments following TTL safety protocol.
• Performs boundary, control, topographic, construction layout, GPS/GIS, and land surveys.
• Assists Crew Chief with administration, computations, and field note reductions.

Survey Field Technician—Clarksville, TN

TTL is hiring a Survey Field Technician to support a variety of civil, industrial, environmental and transportation-based projects throughout Tennessee. No experience is required and TTL is willing to train qualified individuals.

What You’ll Do

• Completes field assignments accurately while following the TTL safety protocol for personnel and equipment.
• Performs field survey operations on the following surveys: boundary, control, topographic, construction layout and staking, environmental mapping, GPS/GIS surveys, and land surveying.
• Works alongside the Crew Chief for completion of field work by performing the administrative functions to include all computations, reduction of field notes, maintaining records, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold.
