Job summary

Accura Engineering in Memphis, TN is seeking a field surveyor to join our team. You will operate data collectors, GPS equipment, and robotic total stations to collect precise geospatial data in diverse field conditions.

You will lead day-to-day crews, ensure safety and PPE, coordinate with clients and office staff, and adhere to local regulations and company procedures. Travel as required with a strong commitment to accuracy and productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 3+ years of survey experience.
• Experience with Transportation Database Surveys desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Willingness to travel for the role.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• Lead day-to-day crews on field operations.
• Ensure crew is properly equipped with PPE and follows safety procedures.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura procedures.
• Monitor accurate completion of daily timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections.
