Fluor Constructors in Austin, TX is seeking a skilled survey/rigging technician to support field layout, rigging setup, and measurement tasks. You will operate total stations, collect data, and assist the party chief to ensure safe, precise layouts for bridges, walls, roads, and utilities.

This role demands adherence to safety standards, the ability to work at heights, and readiness for demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Must follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Knowledge of safety standards for rigging.
• Knowledge and application of craft-related mathematics.
• Proficient with surveying equipment including total stations and GPS.
• Ability to read field notes and maps.

Responsabilités

• Follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Perform cleanup duties.
• Perform material handling and storage duties.
• Identify, use, and care of common hand and power tools.
• Use and care of craft-specific tools.
• Inspect rigging equipment and hardware.
• Set up and operate surveying equipment.
• Measure distances, angles, and elevations.
• Assist party chief as directed.
• Collect and download survey data.
• Prepare field notes; read maps.
