Job description

Position Overview

Experienced Party Chief (Survey Foreman) in Huntsville, AL / North Alabama operations, reporting to the General Manager of Construction & Superintendent. Responsibilities include leading safety, quality, and revenue generation across existing and expanding operations.

Responsibilities

• Determines elevations and lays out stakes for construction surveys
• Calls out readings and directs helpers to write station numbers and readings on grade stakes
• Marks points of measurement with elevation, station number, or other identifying mark
• Directs placements of stakes at designated points
• Enforces and abides by all safety regulations

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence
• Years of prior surveying experience as Party Chief/Foreman or several years experience as a senior rodman with ability to operate survey equipment
• Ability to work outside in all weather and tolerate loud noises
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed
• Self‑motivated, able to work without close supervision

Compensation & Benefits

• Wages start at $28.00/hr, based on verifiable experience
