Job summary

Hamilton Engineering & Surveying, LLC. is seeking a Survey Tech to work on diverse surveying projects in a flexible, active environment. No prior experience required; training is provided, with daily site travel and hands-on equipment use.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in direct sunlight. Health and retirement benefits are offered along with a 401K and disability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Drive to and from job sites daily.
• Set up, adjust, and operate survey equipment (level, robotic total station, data collector, GPS).
• Measure distances, angles, and elevations for staking.
• Use various surveying equipment to collect data.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team leads.

No experience necessary. Training provided.

• Drives to and from sites daily.
• Set up, adjust, and operate survey equipment including: level, robotic total station, data collector and GPS equipment
• Measure distances, angles, and elevations for staking purposes.
• Utilizing various surveying equipment to measure miscellaneous data.
• Follow Hamilton’s safety protocols.
• Effectively communicate with team leads
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to learn/teach
• Physical capabilities: Lift 50 lbs.; driving lath with small sledge; on feet 4-5 hrs. at a time
