Blew & Associates, P.A. is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead field survey activities nationwide and ensure the quality of deliverables.

You will oversee crews in the field, locate boundaries and utilities, and perform ALTA and boundary surveys while coordinating with project managers. The role requires 3+ years as a Survey Crew Chief, strong surveying knowledge, and proficiency with total stations, GPS, and data collectors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• Strong understanding of surveying concepts and practices.
• Proficient with survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
• Part 107 license is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Carlson AutoCAD is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field survey activities and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Locate boundaries, pins, improvements, utilities, and perform ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
• Check and reduce raw field data, perform calculations, and download survey data.
• Conduct project research as needed and follow project manager instructions.
• Communicate with Field Project Manager daily about progress and scheduling.
