Job summary

Accura Engineering in Nashville is seeking a field survey lead with strong experience operating data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment. The role involves leading day-to-day field operations and coordinating with office staff and clients to ensure timely and accurate surveys.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of survey experience, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience conducting a variety of survey.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be willing and able to travel for the role.

Responsibilities

• File transfers will be performed remotely on a daily basis.
• Lead crews on day to day operations.
• Ensure crew is properly equipped with personal protection equipment.
• Ensure crew follows company safety procedures.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.
• Monitor accurate completion of daily timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Utilizing data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• File transfers will be performed remotely on a daily basis.
• Leads crews on day to day operations.

• Ensures crew follows company safety procedures.
• Coordinates with office staff and clients as required.
• Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.
• Monitors accurate completion of daily timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience conducting a variety of survey
• Experience with Transportation Database Surveys is desirable.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Must be willing and able to travel as required for the role.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
• Ability to carry required instruments and equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
