Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a field surveying professional to operate data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment on field projects in Tennessee. You will lead crews, ensure PPE and safety procedures are followed, and coordinate with clients and office staff. Travel may be required.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of survey experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug and background checks. E-Verify applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ surveying experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Willing and able to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• Leads crews on day to day operations.
• Ensure crew is properly equipped with PPE and follows safety procedures.

• Monitor daily timesheets, reports and vehicle inspections.

Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Utilizing data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• File transfers will be performed remotely on a daily basis.
• Leads crews on day to day operations.
• Ensures crew is properly equipped with personal protection equipment.
• Ensures crew follows company safety procedures.
• Coordinates with office staff and clients as required.
• Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.
• Monitors accurate completion of daily timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience conducting a variety of survey
• Experience with Transportation Database Surveys is desirable.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Must be willing and able to travel as required for the role.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
• Ability to carry required instruments and equipment
• Ability to lift 50 poundsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
