Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to join our team in Orlando, FL.

Join our Survey / Geospatial team, which offers a full range of survey and geospatial data and mapping services to collect data efficiently, safely, and accurately. Under your leadership, survey staff will collect data from air, ground, and subsurface sources to provide precise data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of one to three survey crew members.
• Manage survey projects including FDOT design and right-of-way, topographic surveys, aerial ground control, boundary, and ALTA surveys.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 10 years of field survey experience, with at least 5 years as a Crew Chief or equivalent.
• Experience with Florida DOT (FDOT) projects.
• Proficient in Trimble equipment and data collection tools, including data collectors, robotic instruments, total stations, and leveling.
• Ability to learn or experience with 3D scanners.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision needed.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; MVR will be checked.

Pre-employment drug screening and ongoing participation in drug and alcohol testing are required.
