Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is hiring an experienced Survey Crew Chief to support a growing civil engineering practice in Harmonville, PA. This is a predominantly field-based role, with about 90% of duties conducted in the field on a variety of surveying projects.

You will lead field operations, operate GPS and robotic total stations, perform calculations, and collaborate with project managers to plan field work while ensuring data quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on field surveying experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years as a survey crew member.
• Proficiency with GPS data collection and field-to-finish workflows.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm.

• Perform survey calculations and ensure data accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a survey crew member
• Proficiency with GPS data collection and field‑to‑finish workflows
• Valid driver"s license
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm

Preferences

• Field experience as a Survey Crew Chief or Party Chief
• Experience with AutoCAD, Carlson, and/or Civil 3D
• Experience processing field data, setting up stakeouts, and supporting office survey workflows
