Job summary

Tiello LLC in the Des Moines, IA area is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead field surveying teams and ensure accurate data collection for Topographic, Boundary, ALTA/ACSM surveys, and construction staking.

You will document field notes, operate GPS and total stations, manage data transfers, and communicate project status to office teams while maintaining strong client relations.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in survey.

Responsibilities

• Perform fieldwork for Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Plat of Surveys and Construction Staking.
• Document field notes.
• Operate GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
• Transfer files between data collectors and internal company project folders.
• Provide communication to the office teams regarding project status, daily progress, and arising issues.
• Maintain productive working relationships with clients and coworkers.
