Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct boundary and topographic surveys.
• Perform construction site layouts and other surveying activities.
• Supervise a Rodman and/or crew.
• Work under supervisor directions and participate as part of the project team.
• Ensure safety compliance and adapt to changing client needs.
• Resolve practical problems arising on site with limited documentation.

Field Engineer / Crew Chief Position

Bourland Land Surveying is currently seeking applicants for Field Engineer / Crew Chief Position.

• Conduct Boundary and Topographic Surveys
• Construction Site layouts and other surveying activities
• Supervise a Rodman and/or crew
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Be detail oriented, adaptable, and enthusiastic
• Exhibit flexibility to work on multiple projects and react to changing client and company expectations
• Be able to take direction and functions independently
• Participate and become an active part of the project and division team
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables based on client preferences and in areas where documentation may be lacking, or limited standardization exists

• Current and Valid Driver License
• Ability to use personal vehicle. Personal vehicle use will be compensated by the company.
