Job summary

CHP Engineers & Surveying, Inc. seeks a SURVEY CAD TECHNICIAN with FDOT, WASD, and County-Municipality construction experience for a full-time on-site role in Miami, FL.

Expect responsibilities spanning data processing, AutoCAD Civil 3D with FDOT standards, and field-to-map transitions. The candidate should have at least five years of diverse survey experience, be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation SS10, and ORD, and be skilled in Right of Way mapping and boundary surveys.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years minimum experience in diverse survey projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficient in MicroStation SS10 and FDOT Open Road Designer (ORD).
• Experience in Right of Way Control Survey Map, Right‑of‑Way Mapping, and Right of Way Maintained Map is required.
• Must be able to follow directions and assure that all procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge processing survey field data.
• Knowledge using AutoCAD Civil 3D with FDOT Standards.
• Knowledge using MicroStation SS10, and Open Roads Designers (ORD) with FDOT Standards.
• Knowledge in Right of Way Control Survey Map, Right‑of‑Way Mapping, and Right of Way Maintained Map is required.
• Prepare ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey.
• Prepare Boundary & Topographic Survey.
• Perform Stakeout calculations for construction site.
• Interpret and plot record deeds and plats for all type of property survey.
• Prepare As-Built Survey for county approval.
• Knowledge of FDOT Surveying and Mapping Procedures.
