Qualifications

• 7+ years of surveying experience.
• Experience preparing survey drawings for municipal, transportation (DOT) and ALTA surveys.
• Ability to coordinate with design engineers to develop ROW and ownership plans.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and document easement exhibits, legal descriptions, deeds, layouts, submittals and survey drawings.
• Perform survey calculations and prepare reports.
• Adhere to client and company CADD standards and quality procedures.
• Work with survey field crews and project managers to complete projects on time.

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a CADD Technician to support our survey division. The ideal candidate will need to have experience preparing survey drawings for municipal, transportation (DOT) and ALTA surveys. We are looking for someone with great communication skills who enjoys being part of a team in a dynamic environment.Essential Job Functions:Working within MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D following client driven CADD standards (NCS, DOT’s, UPRR, USACOE, etc.)Adhering to specific quality control proceduresComplete work according to standard surveying principles and practices and compliance with company standards and quality system proceduresCreate and document easement exhibits, legal descriptions, deed interpretation, layouts, submittals, instructions, and complete survey drawingsPerform survey calculations and reports.
