Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. is hiring a Survey CAD Technician I to support map and drawing production. You will coordinate map creation to meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements, and handle field data transfers with the project team.

Responsibilities include property research and leveraging AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and related surveying software. A High School diploma or GED is required; LSIT is a plus, with potential overtime and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• AutoCAD Civil training/education certificate.
• 40-hour work week with potential overtime.
• LSIT highly desirable.
• Proficient technical skills: process oriented, steady, helpful, analytical, problem solver, likes to work alone when required, methodical, consistent, detail oriented, precise, hates mistakes, likes structure.
• Must have a valid driver's license, an acceptable motor vehicle report and cleared criminal background check and a negative drug test result.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the production of maps and drawings to cover all details so that quality, budgets and schedules are met.
• Responsible for downloading/uploading field data, technical production of maps and drawings using various software platforms, communicating with project team.
• Performing property research both online and in the courthouse as needed.
