We are currently seeking a full-time, exemptSurvey CAD Technician. The Survey CAD Technician will assist the RPLS in land surveying duties and draft detailed drawings, to include boundary, right-of-way, easements and topographical surveys, profiles, cross sections, subdivision plats, property exhibits, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and other similar types of drawings and maps to be used for transfer of real property, planning, development, and design of civil engineering projects; also performs field survey work if needed.
In this role you can expect to perform the following tasks. This is not an exhaustive list:
This position is primarily sedentary with long periods of sitting, but occasional walking and lifting up to 25lbs may occur. Occasionally bending, squatting, and reaching overhead may also occur. Additionally, extensive computer usage is required daily.
This is a full-time position, with the expectation to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Overtime may be requested at times to meet project deadlines. The standard schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Flexible scheduling is offered.
This position is primarily in-office, but local travel may be required throughout the day to go to project sites and complete survey work or assist other BHB offices. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
