Mackie Consultants, a leading consultant in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying located in Rosemont, Illinois, has an immediate opening for a Survey CAD Technician with 2+ years of experience. This position involves technical support for providing complex CAD support with the design team in preparing engineering/survey plan sets and creating reports. Microstation experience preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of survey plans and construction documents working on complex CAD projects under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor.
• Work efficiently, multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Perform work in an accurate and timely manner.
• Handle multiple assignments with competing priorities.
• Maintain company CAD standards throughout the projects.

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years of progressive survey work experience or an associate's degree in a CAD related field.
• Working knowledge of topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, subdivisions, easement and vacation plats.
• Microstation experience preferred.
• Exceptional client service skills as well as in a team environment.
• Self-starting, requiring minimal supervision once trained.
• General knowledge of MS Office.
