Survey CAD Technician

Department: Midwest North-Land Services

Location: Mentor, OH

Reporting To: Thomas Meeks

Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 / hour

Verdantas is a national consulting group seeking a talented CAD Technician to join our team in the Mentor, Ohio office.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares, processes and surveys existing conditions drawings, survey plats, and surveys.
• Performs baseline mapping.
• Develops drawings in conformance with company and industry standards and codes.
• Close coordination is required with the project surveyors and team members while preparing drawings.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree preferred.
• 3+ years experience with creating existing conditions surveys, including topographic and control drawings based on field-collected data and publicly available information.
• Proficient with any of the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station (Open Roads).
• Relevant design experience in survey drafting, right of way, and utilities.
• Creating plan and profile documents that conform with specifications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
