Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of experience using Autodesk Civil3D, Bentley OpenRoads/OpenSite Designer, or equivalent software.
• High school or equivalent education required.
• 3D modeling software experience is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with terrestrial surveying data processing and CAD drafting.
• Prepare Existing Conditions Surveys and survey plans using Civil3D/MicroStation.
• Support project surveyors with data import, modeling, and documentation.

Job Description

GPI is seeking a Survey CAD Technician for our Survey Department with at least 2 years of experience to work out of our Morris Plains, NJ office.

Candidates must have civil engineering or survey CAD drafting experience and possess good verbal communication skills; work will include processing and importing field data into a CAD environment in the development of survey plans and documents. Work will be project-based and schedule-driven. The successful Technician candidate will work under the direction of a Project Surveyor.
